The idea of the next film in the franchise is basic and has been seen a thousand times before. Naru (Amber Midthunder) is the heroine, a young Comanche who aspires to be a hunter, but her family is not supportive. The Comanche women represented in the film are caregivers, a job Naru is all too familiar with but one she does not want to do for the rest of her life.
She is proficient with the ax and arrows, and, as if it were a new Brave (2012), she attempts to defy previous norms in which women could only perform tasks of nurturing and care, in order to demonstrate that she is the finest hunter.
From a feminist standpoint, it appears that Predator: The Prey attempts to depart from its predecessors, which starred rugged and brutal men. But that is not the case. Essentially, all they’ve done is changed the gender of the same figure.
Yes, they have pretended that they do not take her seriously because she is a woman and that they do not trust her talents because of her gender, but she is still a character obsessed with proving that he/she is the strongest.
